Proof of Life

I am absolutely thrilled to finally spy bits and pieces of green in my flower beds! At last i feel there is light at the end of the tunnel!

I am ever so amazed every spring to find that i love the smell of dirt. Really, i do! Then, like everything else, one gets used to it and you don't even notice it by the end of summer. For now, i revel in it. Want to dig in it, feel it between my fingers. Want to amend it, and pot it. Oh, the joy!
